I got to run a few really fun workouts this weekend. Saturday I teamed up with rowing coach Phil Johns at the Anacostia Community Boathouse. After some technical work, my group did 3 500 meter rows, with Squat cleans, pullups, and kettlebell swings in between. As hard as the workout was, the heat compounded things, and made for some very tired folks. Amazingly, 3 continued on to a jujitsu workout, and chris even finished up with the kettlebell circuit I put the grapplers through.
Sunday chris and Willi showed up for even more abuse, but the highlight of that workout was easily Jen conlin setting a new PR (by a lot) Deadlifting 185lbs. Awesome!
