I was lucky to attend the RKC this past June, along with a few other imfamous CrossFitters. Although there has been some negativity towards eachother in these communities (by a small minority I think), it was a great experience, with a lot of cool people. In 10 years working in fitness, I have never been to an event where they brought in people for you to teach, and been graded on it. Novel idea huh? I think the way CrossFit has re-organized certifications adresses this as well.

As for my workout today, I am toying with a Barbell/KB/Ring combo that I will unleash on the unsuspecting masses soon.

For motivation, Nino did 150 burpees in 5 minutes, in full BJJ Gi.

Nobody can do 30 burpees per minute for 5 minutes. The most I’ve ever seen was Matt Galgiardi doing 27 in one minute, and that was an all out sprint by one of the most all-around metabolically fit people in the world. Either he wasn’t doing the jumps or the pushups, he can’t count, or it took him longer than that.

I posted something new in my blog you might be interested in.

Bill I have both Dragon Door and Gill KBs. As much as I appreciate Gills discounts to CrossFitters, I just don’t like their bells. I have to go with DD.

I buy them through the web

Russ, I will give you that the form might have been lacking, but you may be suprised. I’ll get him to do it with you counting and timekeeping sometime.
