CrossFit training can get really creative. Part of the fun is coming up with new workouts, and pushing people beyond what they thought they could do. Sometimes its easy to lose some of the fundementals in that mix. While I was reviewing video footage from a class, I saw alot of things that needed to be worked on. Thats not a slam on anyone, we are all always trying to get better. But, instead of writing it off, it reiterrated the need to constantly drill the fundementals.
Sundays class we reviewed the basic movements and common errors in the squat, press and deadlift. After the technical work, we put it together in a interval session.
4x 5 minute rounds, 2 minute rest breaks.
Scored by most complete circuits of:
5 DB Deadlifts
5 Burpees
5 DB Thrusters
5 Situps
With 18 people training, I was very lucky to have Russ Greene and Jerry Hill coaching. Nice to have some folks back after a break, as well as some new people.

Tom, I will be at class this Sunday if only to help out!
Jen
I don’t trust that Russ guy. He always looks like he just got up in the morning, is young enough to be my son, and never has the balls to work out with the group.
Jen, good luck with your injuries.
