Who else was surprised to learn that Steve O. was leading class Tuesday? Am I the only person who’s first thought when learning that involved an expletive?

Warm-up, or Workout I:


The Leg Matrix in a word: BRUTAL.


After making sure our legs were thoroughly fried, we went through the second workout for the day. Actually I kid, he did have us stretch out a bit beforehand.

Workout II:


He had us do a ladder drill in which the reps for the burpees increased while the reps for the KB swings remained the same. So you finished with 10 KB Swings and then 10 Burpees.

And if that wasn’t enough…there was one more workout!!!

Workout III: The name “finisher” does no justice for this. We were grouped into teams of 3 to 4 for this last part.

5 rounds of

1 minute Deadlift (barbell)
1 minute Thrusters (DB)
1 minute box jumps
1 minute rest

cool down: Some much need foam rolling and static stretching!!!

Steve definitely did not disappoint!! He will also be covering next Tuesday’s class so if you missed out this week be sure to come by then! Be sure to get A LOT of rest for Thursday’s class. It’s another session with the RedViking!!!
