Worked with Steve O. and Zach using 115lbs for the thrusters and a 20lb med ball. Recognizing that score keeping and math are not my strong points, my rounds were as follows: 1: 28 burpee, 27 sit-up, 11 thruster; 2: 22 burpee, 20 sit-up, 10 thruster; 3: 20 burpee, 20 sit-up, 10 thruster; 4: 20 burpee, 20 sit-up, 15 thruster; All for a corrected total of 223.
Tough workout. That minute recovery seemed to get shorter and shorter with each round.
I worked with Steph and Sara and we used 60 lbs for the thrusters and a 12 lb med ball. I kicked a$$ on the med ball sit-ups to make up for my mediocre thruster performance.
Good luck to everyone in the Hopper Challenge and to Salty in the triathlon! For those of you that aren’t doing any activity on Saturday and want to drink on Friday night, please feel free to stop by my party. 802 E Street NE, Wash, DC 20002. 8 pm.
Zach and I are going to see the Avett Brothers in concert tonight in Baltimore. Have a great workout tonight!
I came in late (damn traffic as usual) and was assigned to Peter and…oh, I forgot his name (sorry). I used 89 pounds for the thruster and a 16-pound medicine ball.
Talk about an ass-kicking workout! I concur with Salty on the minute recovery [it really was a minute minute recovery (let’s see how many people get that even though I wrote “minute” twice, each one is pronounced differently)]. However, I managed to average 15 reps per workout (not bad for an old man, huh?).
CFDC’s own ODB is…still on the Zone and wonders what happened to everyone else who started the challenge on January 1, 2009.
ODB, I got it the first time without reading your little aside!
Farouk? I’m thinking he was in Peter’s group.
I was and am still very sore from this workout. Since I won’t be able to go to class tonight, I’m going to get in a quick 21-15-9 at home of KB Swings, SDHP’s, dips, and burpees after work.

Sorry I had to miss it – misery loves company. Work obligations again tomorrow but see you at the Hopper Challenge.

It was Jacob who was the other person who worked out with Peter and me.
My bad.
