On the heels of Sundays Strengthfest, it was time for a real gasser.
Partner challenge style:
3 rounds 500 M Row
max rounds 5 KB Swings/ 5 burpees/ 10 Situps
Score by total rounds of 5-5-10 gone while the other person rows.
Finished of with a team total of 235 ball slams led by Brendan in honor of the Marine Corps Birthday. (One for good Luck!)
That was one ass-kicking workout; Coach definitely delivered on his promise! I knew it would be one when Steve O. looked in my direction before he and I started rowing and calmly said “This is going to suck.” 🙂
Needless to say, he was right in his assessment. 🙂
I partnered with Zach who put up a really strong effort (we used the 32kg kettlebell for the swings). My age really started to show on this workout because I felt old after we finished. 🙂
The ball slams in-the-round were a nice change-of-pace.
All-in-all, I survived it. 🙂
CFDC’s own ODB…will probably not show up for tonight’s (12 November) WoD, but he will be there for Sunday’s (15 November) workout.
