Good to see Ash back in class, when a grad student has a class canceled and takes that as an opportunity to come to CrossfFt, you know he is legit. Thanks once again to Mike Choi for working on some technical corrections. Having a knowledgable lifter just hanging around is a real bonus. Mike is also a massage therapist, so if you need some recovery work, get with him.

    It was good to be back after a forced week off and I really liked the workout.

    Worked with Sara and Jade who both rocked the workout. Coach said I need to work on using more legs on my pp/pj so will be working on that.

    Birthday workout for Maiko on Thursday??

    I was glad to be back as well. Tom & Reggie also gave me the “more leg” correction on my overhead press.

    Great partners, as always. I struggled with the 75 lbs, but working with 2 people that make it look easy is inspirational!

    Oh yeah, I’m so sore today. I might check into Mike’s services at some point. That’s great information.

    I did the workout after class since I came in too late for class.

    I used 60 kg for the cleans and did (cleans/burpees) 8/20, 8/20, and 9/21. Looking back, I think I could (and maybe should) have upped my weight to 70 kg.

    While I was sucking wind for part of the workout, I did like this particular workout.

    CFDC’s own ODB…needs to get to CrossFit DC tomorrow after pigging out (one cheat meal) at Long John Silver’s this evening (and, yes, it was good).

    As Steph and Jade said, I worked with them in this workout. I like these kinds of workouts. I am happy I stayed pretty consistent on both exercises through each round. I had to disqualify 2 cleans cause I didn’t make it all the way to the ground on them.

    Nice job to both my teammates for pushing your boundaries. (and of course everyone else)

    welcome back Ash – it was great to workout with you again. along with Ash, also worked with Tom A. and Zach at 155#. a few of us were commenting that this type of workout has made an appearance in CFDC before – and it kicked my ass both times; much thanks Brose.
