Worked with Henry, Reggie and Steve O on the Sumo DLs. I like the Sumo DL’s, they seem to feel very comfortable to me. Believed I worked up to 180kg/~396lbs. Used 50lb DBs for the metcon – sucked, but no round sucked worse than the 5th, where I nearly missed a thruster rep, but realized my mistake only after setting the DBs down and was on the floor getting ready to do the PUs. Not cool.

I like sumo deadlifts as well…but last night was not one of my better nights as I only manged to get 170kg x 1 (374 lbs.). Oh well…
I screwed up my met-con: I picked up the 55 lb. dumbbells, realized that I wouldn’t be able to lift them for thrusters, went back to get some lighter weights, and all I could find were 35 lb.dumbbells (so I used those). Oh well…
After class, Tom A. and I did some interesting pinch-grip work. In addition, I did some weighted pull-ups, some band-assisted handstand push-ups, and lots of stretching.
CFDC’s own ODB…still feels old.
