After Tuesdays relatively low volume explosive workout, last night was time to push the pace. This workout was a pure lung burner. Being relatively “simple” movements, the focus was on maintaining posture and focused breathing.

5 ROUNDS
CHURCH RUN (250 M.)
8 BURPEES
10 BOX JUMPS
12 KB SWINGS

That looked like a fun workout. Wish I could’ve done it. Great job done by everybody and it was really good to see Andraea back in class.

Good workout – wish I could’ve done as prescribed. Subbed row for run, and weighted overhead step-ups for box jumps. Row wasn’t a factor, but the step-ups slowed the pace, and sort of defeated the “sprint-style” point of the WOD. still got a good sweat on though. also got a little fun in on the peg board – Ninja Warrior, here I come…

A good lung-burning, ass-kicking, heavy sweat-inducing workout. Running and performing burpees are not my favorite two exercises…especially when they are back-to-back. But Erica said it best: “Running was your rest break.” 🙂

I used the 2 pood (32kg) kettlebell for the swings.

I did a little of the muscle-up progression, but I had to leave in order to make it yoga on-time.

CFDC’s own ODB…was doing his best to be more green on Earth Day.
