Worked with Erica for the Met-Con. I used the 20kg KB. Although I didn’t feel exhausted afterwards I was really struggling to finish the swings by the set of 12 or 13. I managed to not break any set except the round of 15.
I think I will start working in the 24kg KB for swings every now and then. I know I can swing it overhead, just not sure of how long.
back to the bench – used to be one of my least favorite movements, but having worked on it quite a bit recently, it’s slowly creeping it’s way up the list. Worked my way up to 3×245. For the MetCon, paired up with Dan. We used the 32kg KB, trading off after each set of swings, and decided to replace the situps with K2E. Tough on the forearms, but even tougher on the hip flexors.
