How can that workout not generate some comments? Come on!

    because we’re still recovering??

in truth, I really liked that workout. I decided to use 225 for the squats, which was tough but allowed me to complete all 3 sets unbroken. I do have to say that I was surprised at just how hard I was breathing during the squats. Serious ass kicker, Brose – well done.

Agreed, definitely was tough. Started at 275 for the first set, got 19 reps, then 2. Arms felt like they were going numb toward the end of that one. Second set got up 8 reps, then 2, then dropped to 255 for the last 5. Finished up the last set at 255. In retrospect working with 255 probably would’ve been a better idea, but I’m glad I tried 275.

I liked this workout as well. I used 225# for the squats which allowed me to get to a good squat depth as well as complete the round unbroken. I think that I could have added a bit more weight, but I also think that I would have sacrificed some depth in the process.

Quads and glutes were really “feeling it” the next day. 🙂
