Split Jerks to 115#
Metcon in 4:37
Split Jerk: 125#
Metcon: 7:05 with Phil
I worked with 51KG on the Jerks which felt pretty heavy today. I realized I was pretty tight from yesterday and had a little difficulty with the bar feeling like it was not going directly overhead. Instead it was a little outfront, especially on the push jerks.
I teamed up with Devon on the metcon. We used a 16lb ball and 24″ box. I probably did about 7-10 extra wallball reps due to missing the target either because I missed the height or just shot it straight up and didn’t hit the wall
I used 53# on the jerks, which felt about right. I’m still not comfortable with the split…tonight my cues were faster and louder feet. The push jerk felt good, though. I struggled with my focus a little, just felt like an off day mentally.
Due to that I scaled on the light side with a 12″ box and 10# med ball. Eric and I partnered up (with different scaling) for the workout, and it was great working with someone new! Once I got into a good position on the wall balls I was able to string a few together, and it didn’t feel too heavy.
