– Alt sides each rep
– light to moderate weight

Strength 2:
Push Press 5-5-3-3-3-3
– Work to heavy set of 3, but avoid failure

    Good class today! I feel like that was a lot of work and good use of the hour for class.

    Nice to work on some push press. I think I need to focus more on staying on my heels with the initial drive and of course also tuck my hip under, squeeze my quads and glutes, and not do the ski-jump. So many things to fix! Stayed at 83 to work on form.

    Used a 25lb for the snatches as Chris said this shouldn’t be too heavy as he’s looking for more speed than weight. Finished in 5’26 but apparently my sister still beat me.

    Agreed, that was a fast-paced class!

    I stayed very light and used 10# on the TGUs, and tried not to rush them. Worked up to 58# on the push press…I was descending a little too fast, so I worked on slowing that down while still getting the drive. My body defaulted to jerks a few times, though I tried to fight it.

    I used 15# on the metcon and finished in 7:16. I thought I was keeping a decent pace, so I have no clue how Steph finished in 5:26, and Julia before her!!! Amazing! It was good working next to Kelly, she wasn’t stopping so I felt like I couldn’t either.
