Great first weekend back! I rest now
Hat tip to new member Andrew (in Boston Triathlon tee) who, when I found myself doing solo burpees in the last 2 min of the WOD, did them with me (!) to keep my pace up. Damn, if that’s not playing well with others…
What a brutal workout! I was out of commission when we originally did this workout for Chris’s birthday. Only he likes burpees!
Used 135. My last squat in the last round was pretty ugly. Had no core left at that point. Rowing was mostly trying to recover and was just trying to keep moving on those burpees. Finished with 26/20/28, 20/17/25, 16/17/23.
Thanks for having a birthday, Kathy! Happy birthday! And thanks for whipping this one back out, Tom!
That is one of the toughest workouts I’ve done. Having watched the class gut it out, then hitting it with Chris, Steph, Ben and Sara kept me fired up. Going at the same time as Julia was a great reminder to keep going, as I could hear her pounding out the burpees as I gasped for breath.
