    A very fun class! I did my DLs at 113#, 133, 153, 163 (I think? something like that?). They felt pretty good, though my lower back was starting to feel a little unstable on the last set so that was probably a good max for the day.

    Coach Chris kindly let Ann and I use 53# for the metcon, which was just right because I was able to hold on the bar continuously for each minute and really push myself to keep moving….if I did 63# I would have had to rest. Before the workout I didn’t think about how taxing on my grip this would be, but it certainly was, wow! I think I finished 5 full rounds + 1 DL. I was happy with my performance on this one, I felt like I was there mentally today to really push myself, which isn’t always the case. Excellent open prep! 🙂

      It was awesome to watch you and Ann push today Katie – 45 definitely would’ve been too light, so I’m glad you guys opted to ask for an in-between weight! Best of all, no burpees!
