With great power comes great responsibility.

Wade’s Army draws inspiration from its namesake — young Wade DeBruin, who passed away from Neuroblastoma in 2011 at the age of 2, as well as the friends, family members, and allies who have since rallied together against the disease. Over the past four years, Wade’s Army has raised thousands of dollars to support children and families battling the disease and benefit Neuroblastoma research for future generations.

Wade Debruin — Sept. 22, 2009-Nov. 12, 2011
On November 12th, CrossFit DC will run the workout “
Wade” as part of class, joining gyms around the world in commemorating Wade’s Day. Until then, we’re raising a call for donations via our
fundraising page to support the fight against Neuroblastoma. Every little bit
counts!
.
You can also show your support by participating in Wade’s Army’s aptly-named “
Join the Fight Fridays” and wearing your Wade’s T-shirt each Friday from now until November 12th to raise awareness about this deadly disease. If you take to social media to share your “Power for Good in action,” be sure to tag
@crossfitdc and
@wadesarmy, and include t
he hashtags #wadesarmy and#UseYourPowerForGood — you might just win some sweet prizes from the team at Wade’s Army!

Claim your uniform! Each $30+ donation enables you to claim a T-shirt or tank top by Oct 8 via WadesArmy.org.
Mark your calendars, take a second to read more about the
Wade’s Army Mission, and please consider using YOUR power for good and
