3-2-1, Liftoff!

This Saturday, November 7th, CrossFit DC opens up Open Gym for any member looking to participate in CrossFit’s Liftoff. The Liftoff is comprised of a max effort Snatch, a max effort Clean & Jerk, and a workout. Final details on the workout to be released today, but check out the following links for some info (and rules) from HQ.

We’ll start things off, at both gyms (14th St & H St), at 1:30pm. We’ll dedicate thirty minutes to each portion of the Liftoff (so, first 30min to the Snatch, second 30min to C&J, and the final 30min or so to the workout). Participants are welcome to show up at 1pm to begin warming up.

Fresh off the heels of CFDC’s own max effort attempts in both lifts, done on separate weekends, this is a great opportunity to put all the recent training to the test! You do not have to register via the Liftoff website in order to participate in Saturday’s event, but, preference will be given to those who are officially registered. All those interested in participating should email coach Chris (chris@crossfitdc.com).

Space will be limited, so those interested should email ASAP so that we can ensure adequate access to equipment and space.
