3) H St is closed THIS weekend, June 2nd and June 3rd – we will hold extended open gym, until 5PM at U ST
Saturday, June 2nd from 5PM on, U Streeter, Kamber is hosting a cupcake making event! Email emily@crossfitdc.com for more information.
4) June 9th, Open gym 1-2PM ONLY at U ST – we’re hosting a lifting competition from 2PM on.
On a more serious note, please be careful coming and going to the gym, especially for early morning and late night classes. There were several incidents around the U St. gym in recent evenings, including a few people being attacked by a group of teens. Several DCW folks were accosted leaving the gym after a late weightlifting session last night. Please avoid walking with headphones in and be aware of your surroundings. If there is anything that makes you uncomfortable, err on the side of caution. We want to provide kick ass workouts but also assure everyone makes it to and from the gym safely.
