About Me

Favorite thing about yoga:
Yoga is for everyone! You don't need to be flexible or an athlete to practice. I love yoga because I can approach it differently every day and take exactly what I need from the practice (rest, strength, hope, etc.). Come join me!

Favorite movement(s) or workout(s):
-Warrior II to extended side angle to bird of paradise
-Crow pose and other arm or head balances

Favorite things to do outside of the gym:
Outside of teaching yoga and going to CrossFit, you can find me trying all of DC's best coffee shops and pizza places or making friends with the neighborhood cats.

How did you first get into yoga?
I began my yoga journey in high school. As an avid athlete and competitive dancer, I came to yoga with hopes to maintain my strength and flexibility, but I kept coming back because of the positive impact the practice has had on not only my physical health, but my mental health too.

Why did you decide to become a yoga teacher?
After nearly a decade of being a student, I decided to step into the teacher role because I wanted to share yoga with my community. I completed her 200-hour training with Humble Haven Yoga in Richmond, VA in 2020 and have been teaching ever since. My goal is to always meet students where they are and help inform their practice with modifications.
